Compliance Analyst
The Directors Guild of America - Producer Pension & Health Plans is seeking a Compliance Analyst to manage and analyze contributions and billing processes. Responsibilities
Perform deal memos versus contributions comparison to identify potential billings
Import outstanding deal memos into the M3 system for invoicing
Research quarterly statement contribution discrepancies reported by participants
Perform comparison of payroll history reports versus contributions to determine discrepancies or unpaid contributions that may affect the DGA’s release of the payroll deposit to the producer
Responsible for verifying participants’ actual DGA-covered compensation by: a) requesting various proof of work documents such as pay stubs, time cards, check copies, bank statements, invoices, Form W-2, Form 1099, tax returns, etc. from participants and b) requesting payroll records such as payroll register, payroll history report, etc. from producers or payroll services
Generate and mail invoices to producers, including for delinquent contributions and late fees
Correspond in writing and make follow-up calls with participants, producers and payroll services on outstanding or disputed invoices
Retrieve deal memo and contract copies from the Take-2 system for research and billing
Answer telephone inquiries from participants regarding statements, contributions and address updates and correspond with participants in writing as needed
Prepare contribution reports and backup documents for contribution allocation on collection payments received
Prepare delinquency adjustment and payment input sheets for data processing
Retrieve various documents from Laserfiche
Regular, predictable and reliable attendance is required
Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor
Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels
Prepare closed invoices for scanning
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Good math skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to proofread for accuracy in grammar and typing
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to prioritize workload
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
