Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for the development, delivery, and continuous tier 3 system support of the Pharmacy Supply Chain Technology portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and reliability
Oversee the development and delivery of software solutions, leveraging a diverse set of development and database technologies. Ensure all deliverables adhere to security and architectural standards, established departmental methodologies and practices, and maintain full compliance with PHI and HIPAA system regulations
Plan and coordinate team projects by optimizing resource allocation and defining key milestones to ensure alignment with business objectives and technology requirements
Cultivate and sustain effective partnerships with business area representatives to ensure alignment on strategic direction, prioritization, and development initiatives
Maintain productive relationships with software vendors to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and optimize the delivery of provided technology solutions
Collaborate with software vendors to strategically prioritize and resolve software defects and the implementation of system enhancements, and effectively manage vendor budgets
Oversee the continuous monitoring of production environments to verify optimal system performance and operations
Provide oversight of application support processes and ensure timely problem resolutions and appropriate escalation of system issues
Ensure timely communication and escalation of critical system incidents to Technology and business area management, maintaining appropriate awareness
Perform human resource management duties, including hiring, training, performance evaluations and improvement plans, career counseling, pay reviews, promotions, terminations, and work prioritization for assigned associates
Foster and maintain a collaborative and high-performing team environment that promotes associate well-being, engagement, and productivity
Contribute to the development and implementation of team and departmental processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and measurement reporting frameworks

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
8+ years IT experience with large-scale enterprise solutions
5+ years in a leadership role, including: IT project management, Leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning to implementation, Resource analysis and allocation, Leading high-performing, multidisciplinary software development teams
5+ years developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications using modern architectures and emerging technologies
5+ years of experience delivering effective solutions to complex business challenges
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a 24/7 environment; willingness to engage extended/off-hours work unexpectedly when needed
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management, technical teams, and non-technical business areas associates
Experience with resource management, including knowledge of team dynamics, team building concepts, and human resources concepts and policies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic financial management and budgeting skills

Preferred

10+ years IT experience developing, maintaining, and supporting large-scale enterprise solutions
5+ years of experience developing, configuring, and supporting large scale enterprise applications within a 24/7 environment
Experience developing and supporting high volume, mission-critical batch, web, and mobile applications using Kotlin, Java, Spring Batch, RHEL, Oracle, Angular, and RESTful technologies
Experience with Pharmacy Supply Chain industry standards such as EDI, EPCIS, DSCSA, Suspicious Order Monitoring, Controlled Substance Ordering (CSOS), 340B, and Inventory management practices
