Responsibilities
Manage roadway design staff in their work on projects for the DOT’s and Local Public Agencies in the state of Missouri
Build relationships with clients, develop pursuits, attract staff and work on project delivery in a production role
Continue to work as a Senior Project Manager capable of pursuing and delivering complex transportation projects for DOT and Local Public Agency clients in southwest Missouri
Lead feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase
Coordinate multi-discipline projects inclusive of survey, grading, drainage, structures, and utilities and layout of various site items
Supervise the work of a medium to large staff of professional and technicians
Conduct project management, quality assurance/control checks, and technical review
Prepare and negotiate proposals, scopes, budgets, schedules
Communicate (verbal and written) with the client, support and advise junior engineers and technical staff, write reports and technical memos, coordinate with sub-consultants, and keep projects on schedule and within budget
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 7 years experience
Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Good leadership and organizational skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Project Management experience with understanding of Earned Value desirable
Prefer candidates with previous work experience with an A/E/C Engineering firm
