Responsibilities
Execute the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver safe, individualized, evidence-based patient care
Provide patient- and family-centered care , respecting cultural values and care goals
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional care environment
Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and quality initiatives
Apply evidence-based practice and support patient safety initiatives
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Proactively plan care across the entire patient care continuum
Support efficient use of staffing, time, and clinical resources
Participate in mentorship, education, and ongoing competency requirements
Qualification
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Computer data entry proficiency – Required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Float and provide Med Surg nursing coverage across Spaulding, Sylvan Grove, and West GA locations as assigned
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and time management skills
Ability to manage clinical emergencies calmly and decisively
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire): Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire): BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
