Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers that cover technology and business
Schedule and conduct meetings in-person with journalists
Create and distribute compelling pitches, press releases, and other PR materials
Pitch compelling story angles to media outlets, securing media placements in top-tier publications, online platforms, and broadcast channels
Monitor media and industry trends to identify opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product management
Measure and analyze the impact of PR efforts, providing regular reports on media coverage and campaign performance

Required

Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.7+
1-5 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience in public relations working directly with journalists
Demonstrated success in pitching journalists at top-tier outlets
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and pitches
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals and stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Experience working in a startup environment
