Responsibilities
Lead the design and technical development of mechanical and HVAC systems across a range of building types
Oversee production of coordinated construction documents, specifications, schedules, and technical reports
Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and design partners throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, electrical, and structural engineers
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and graduate engineers
Contribute innovative ideas and problem-solving strategies to complex design challenges
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on building systems / HVAC
Prior experience in a senior or associate-level role within an MEP or architectural engineering consultancy
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Strong proficiency with Revit and mechanical analysis tools
Experience across complex building sectors such as commercial, higher education, cultural, laboratory, aviation, or transportation projects
Proven leadership, communication, and client-facing capabilities
Preferred
LEED AP accreditation preferred
