Responsibilities
Ensuring that Hotel Technicians are positively interacting with Hotel Staff to maximize the effectiveness of sales and service
Monitor training of all Hotel Technicians including but not limited to: appearance, technical skills, sales, customer service, maintenance of equipment, safety, relationship building, and customer complaints
Working directly with clients to provide walk-throughs
Answering client questions that arise during the event planning process and event execution
Schedule staff weekly
Inventory Control
Interface with operational departments
Assist with hiring, training, and coaching Hotel Technicians as required
Provide directorship training for each staff technician
Maintain high visibility within the assigned location
Other duties as assigned
Flexible with work schedule
Qualification
Required
Complete knowledge of hotel operations
4 years or more experience as an Audio Visual Technician
Excellent organization, communication, and motivational skills
Service-oriented with attention to detail and deadlines
Possess the ability to manage and work with many different types of people and personalities on many different levels
