Responsibilities
Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Conduct swabbing, environmental monitoring, and basic microbiological testing
Verify HACCP/Preventive Controls monitoring records for accuracy and completeness
Calibrate, operate, and maintain QA testing equipment
Hold and release products as necessary; perform non-conformance investigations
Support internal audits, GMP inspections, and corrective action follow-ups
Document findings legibly and accurately in QA systems
Communicate quality concerns to production leadership promptly
Qualification
Required
Bilingual. Can speak and write in both English and Spanish
High school diploma required
Understanding of GMPs, HACCP principles, and food safety fundamentals
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred
Associate degree in Food Science or related field preferred
Prior experience in QA/QC within food manufacturing preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
