Vice President of Compliance
NexTech is seeking an experienced Vice President of Compliance/Compliance Officer to lead their enterprise-wide compliance, regulatory, and billing integrity strategy. This role involves overseeing billing and reimbursement compliance, fraud prevention, privacy protection, and ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the Compliance Program, including policies, procedures, audits, and risk assessments
Serve as the primary liaison for compliance matters with the CAO, CEO, executive team, board, and external regulatory agencies
Investigate compliance concerns, respond to allegations of violations, and recommend corrective actions
Ensure privacy and information security compliance, including HIPAA adherence and risk mitigation strategies
Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff, leadership, and business associates
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of compliance and privacy activities
Monitor changes in federal, state, and industry regulations, ensuring policies are updated proactively
Support organizational strategic goals by aligning compliance initiatives with operational priorities
Supervise compliance staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering professional development
Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and patient safety across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
6–10 years of senior level experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, or clinical leadership
Proven experience with complex billing and coding requirements under multiple Medicaid programs
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy, and information security standards
Proven leadership skills, including team management, strategic planning, and cross-departmental collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and project management skills
Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into operational policies
Knowledge of accreditation standards (ACHC, URAC, The Joint Commission)
Experience leading compliance programs through organizational growth or transformation
Preferred
advanced degree preferred
Experience in home healthcare, pediatric care, or infusion services
