Broadcom is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to participate in an Agile development environment. The role involves planning, designing, developing, and executing tests for software enhancements and fixes, ensuring high-quality software aligned with user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Performing validation and verification testing of both new features and product fixes
Developing and executing high-quality software tests in a continuous integration environment
Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation pipelines
Assessing code coverage and identifying/resolving testing gaps
Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Ensuring test pipelines are up to date with latest technologies
Collaborating and providing Quality Assurance subject matter expertise in an Agile team environment
Coordination with management and internal teams

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science and 5+ years of related experience or Masters degree in engineering/computer science and 3+ years of related experience
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Strong understanding of Security protocols and ESMs
Proficiency with Web UI Automation (Playwright)
Proficiency with REST API Automation (RestAssured)
Proficiency with CI/CD test automation frameworks (Jenkins)
Proficiency with Java and Javascript/Typescript
Experience with Junit/TestNG framework

Preferred

Knowledge of JMeter for Stress and Load testing is a plus
