Program Manager - Supported & Independent Living Services

United Cerebral Palsy of San Joaquin, Calaveras & Amador Counties is seeking a Program Manager for Supported & Independent Living Services. The role involves overseeing program operations, maintaining business relations with regulatory bodies, and ensuring the implementation of individual consumer plans while managing staff and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall planning, organizing, implementing daily program operations
Maintains business relations with funding, licensing, accreditation bodies and other regulatory bodies
Maintains proper and effective communication with Chief Operating Officer
Ensures management report systems and consumer documentation is accurate and current
Ensures that the program billing is completed accurately and submitted in accordance with UCP and funding source requirements
Implement all policies and procedures including: Consumers, Personnel including the Employee Handbook, Administration, Emergency Procedures, Financial Policies, Information Technology Policies
Attends and participates in all staff and administrative meetings
Responsible for the oversight of staff relative to the implementation of individual consumer plans
Provides staff management and supervision including: Hiring, Training, Feedback and progressive discipline, Evaluations, Maintain a safe and secure work environment, etc
May partner with independent consumers with regard to IHSS workers
Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of individual consumer plans (including correlation with other agency plans)
Ensures program facility is maintained in a clean and safe manner
Monitor and maintain safety and health procedures
May provide direct care to consumers as needed

Required

BA/BS degree with major course work in social work, psychology, therapeutic recreation, adapted physical/special education or related human service field
Minimum of three years of experience working in day or residential programs serving persons with disabilities
A Master's degree in a related field qualifies as two years of the experience criteria
Must possess ability to read, write and understand English
Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
Must have ability to present information with clarity to all stakeholders
Knowledge and ability to work with mathematical and accounting concepts to support managerial decisions and budget development and budget control
Must have intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as other programs as needed in the SAIL program
Must possess a valid CDL and have clean driving record as well as operate a vehicle in good condition
