The role involves conducting trademark searches, drafting applications, and managing trademark portfolios while collaborating with clients and IP authorities.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Conduct trademark clearance searches and preliminary assessments
Draft and file trademark applications internationally
Communicate with clients and IP authorities (e.g., DPMA, IGE, EUIPO, WIPO, national offices)
Maintain and manage trademark portfolios
Monitor and manage deadlines for filings, renewals, and oppositions
Support with oppositions and monitoring tasks
Contribute to improving internal workflows and processes related to trademark management
Qualification
Required
Full proficiency in German and English; French is a strong plus
Detail-orientation and organisational skills
Willingness to take ownership of your work, clients, and projects with the freedom to shape how you deliver value
A proactive mindset and curiosity to learn
Preferred
Familiarity with national and international trademark systems
Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in IP or trademark law
Demonstratable capacity for working independently
Ability to integrate AI tools in your workflow
