Responsibilities
Cluster Management: Handle all Neo4J builds including design, setup, and capacity planning for multi-node environments
Operational Excellence: Perform high-level maintenance, upgrades, and participate in a 24x7 support rotation
Performance Monitoring: Create metrics to measure cluster health and proactively set up alerting mechanisms
Automation: Research and implement automated approaches for system administration tasks using tools like Ansible or Chef
Data Integrity: Manage backup/recovery functions and ensure security models follow best-in-class standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years overall experience
5+ years specifically in Neo4J/DataStax administration
Expert in data structure design, data modeling, and CQL (Cypher Query Language) queries
Expertise in at least one language: Python, Java, Spark, Perl, or Bash
Experience with Solr and Spark implementation of DSE
Build pipelines using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Proven experience in an Agile Way of Working
