Facilities Senior Manager (Maintenance)

The Boeing Company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Facilities Senior Manager to lead and sustain 24/7 maintenance service delivery for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves ensuring continuous production support, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Own shift-level service delivery metrics (e.g., mean time to repair, on-time preventive maintenance completion, first-time-fix rate) and drive continuous improvement to meet or exceed target KPIs
Translate production system principles into day-to-day maintenance practices: standard work, visual management, takt alignment, and quick problem solving on second/third shifts
Coordinate with production and 1st-shift maintenance to ensure seamless handovers, accurate shift turnover documentation, and continuity of in-progress corrective and preventive work
Lead root-cause investigations for recurring failures occurring on your shifts; implement durable countermeasures and verify effectiveness with follow-up metrics
Maintain and improve shift-level workforce capability: coaching, cross-training, certification compliance, and succession planning for technical leads
Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements on your shifts; lead incident/near-miss investigations and corrective actions when events occur
Own spare parts and consumable usage performance on your shifts: identify consumption patterns, drive reductions in emergency requests, and support inventory optimization
Engage proactively with supply chain, quality, and engineering to resolve technical issues quickly and escalate appropriately to prevent production disruption
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement on 2nd/3rd shifts: lead Kaizen events, capture improvement ideas, and recognize team contributions
Implement and maintain effective maintenance planning and scheduling practices on your shifts to reduce ad-hoc work and improve predictable service delivery
Manage contractor and vendor performance during your shifts, ensuring scope, safety, and quality expectations are met and aligned with production priorities

Required

5+ years of experience in operations, facilities management, maintenance, manufacturing, construction projects and/or project management
Experience in leading site facilities operations and infrastructure projects
Outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
3+ years of experience with problem solving
3+ years experience in Process Management, Lean and/or One BPS experience
Willing and able to work any shift

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
Experience working in large-scale manufacturing
