Content Creator & Staff Writer

As a Content Creator & Staff Writer, you will be responsible for producing engaging and insightful content that positions Loyalty360 as a key resource for customer loyalty professionals, while collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with industry trends and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop well-researched long-form pieces, including In-Depth Exclusives, magazine articles, case studies, reports, and advertorial content, conveying a unique voice and expert perspective
Collaborate with account management team members to craft content based on membership deliverables, including Q&A interviews and thought leadership articles
Work with Loyalty360 leadership to conduct interviews with business executives; ghostwrite articles or long-form pieces based on interview content and identify industry trends
Write and edit daily articles for Loyalty360’s various outlets, positioning the organization as the most prolific resource and expert voice for customer loyalty news
Coordinate development, tracking, and scheduling of Loyalty360 Industry Briefs
Proofread and edit copy from internal and external sources to ensure editorial standards
Create written copy for marketing, event, and advertising projects as needed
Assist in developing and coordinating Loyalty360’s PR outreach process
Develop and maintain knowledge of the industry and target audience to understand what attracts, grows, and retains readers and members
Work with Loyalty360 web development, marketing, and leadership teams to develop, execute, and monitor SEO plans and linking strategies
Ensure content aligns with marketing and sales efforts; develop a plan for integrating content with overall marketing and event strategies
Assist with content management for Loyalty360 member deliverables—work with clients on article ideas/questions, create content, and support approval, scheduling, and tracking processes
Collaborate with the marketing team to suggest content and posts for Loyalty360 social media channels and email newsletters
Write 4–5 articles per week based on Loyalty360 podcast interviews, Q&A sessions, and meetings with supplier and brand members. Articles will range from 500 to 1,400 words depending on type
Synthesize video interviews and written responses into clear, engaging articles
Track article progress using project management tools and spreadsheets, including: Interview date, writing start date, draft completion, review, member sign-off, and publication
Develop questions for upcoming interviews conducted by Loyalty360 personnel

Required

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of professional writing or content creation experience, preferably in B2B marketing, customer experience, or loyalty industry
Exceptional ability to craft clear, engaging, and insightful content for multiple formats (articles, reports, interviews, marketing copy)
Strong aptitude for researching industry trends and translating complex topics into accessible, actionable insights
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and interviewing senior executives
Excellent proofreading and editing skills to maintain high editorial standards
Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO best practices, and basic digital marketing principles
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
