Responsibilities
Performs day to day operations of ongoing insurance authorization, including documentation submission and tracking of authorization periods
Issues all Medicare related notices according to guidelines
Provides administrative support and manages the day to day office tasks for the HIM department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
MS Office required
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees of organization
Preferred
Associates degree preferred
Two (2) years of medical billing or finance experience preferred
