Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of civil engineering projects—from planning and design through execution—ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are met
Partner with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions, achieve project goals, and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Oversee the development and coordination of schematic design, design development, and construction documents, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency
Supervise, mentor, and support designers and project engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and professional growth
Represent the firm through active participation in professional organizations and industry activities, supporting continued learning and industry engagement

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of progressive technical experience across all phases of civil engineering project delivery
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Strong technical expertise with a proven track record of successful project delivery, including site design, grading, accessibility, drainage, wet utilities, and stormwater management systems
Working knowledge of local agencies and a solid understanding of jurisdictional permitting and approval processes
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary design environment
Proven success in building and maintaining strong client relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage civil design projects from initial concept through final completion
