Responsibilities
Book, manage, and execute events across Zuma and Etaru, ensuring accuracy in all event details
Drive event sales through proactive selling, showing, and closing techniques
Develop and implement floor plans for events, ensuring optimal layout and flow
Attend meetings with chefs, operations leaders, and clients to discuss event details and requirements
Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise
Close out billing for events, ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately and efficiently
Conduct outreach activities to generate new leads and build relationships with potential clients
Manage a high volume of inbound leads, maintaining a professional and timely response to all inquiries
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Zuma's offerings to effectively sell and promote the venue
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, or luxury hospitality
Demonstrated success managing events across multiple venues or brands
Proven ability to proactively build and manage a sales pipeline, not only rely on inbound inquiries
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Proficiency in event management and CRM software
Professional presence with exceptional client service and relationship-building skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
Preferred
Experience working in seasonal or destination markets strongly preferred
