Responsibilities
Maintain accurate grower accounts, including settlements, advances, payments, and reconciliations
Prepare and review grower statements ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agreements
Track production costs, grower expenses, and allocations related to farming operations
Assist with general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile inventory, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities related to agricultural operations
Collaborate with operations, field staff, and management to resolve discrepancies and provide financial support
Assist with audits, internal reporting, and special accounting projects as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounting experience
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, nice but not necessary
