Responsibilities
Loads, unloads, and moves pipes and other materials using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment
Assists in the preparation and staging of materials for dispatch to drilling or production sites
Conducts visual inspections of pipes and tubular goods for defects, damage, or irregularities
Reports any findings to the Yard Supervisor for further inspection
Cleans pipes and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment
Ensures that all materials are maintained in a clean and ready-to-use condition
Assists in maintaining accurate inventory records by marking and tagging pipes and other materials
Assists in periodic inventory counts and audits
Follows all safety guidelines and regulations while working in the yard
Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety meetings and training sessions
Maintains a clean and organized work environment
Assists with general maintenance and housekeeping tasks within the yard
Works closely with other yard personnel to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a pipe yard, oilfield, or industrial setting is preferred but not required
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment (certification preferred)
