Responsibilities
Follow our Safety Pathway, developing skills in cargo securement, regulatory compliance, driver training, risk assessment and more
Actively participate in daily tasks by auditing safety systems, providing technical support for Electronic Log Devices and evaluating claims processes
Gain insight into logistics and supply chain management by working with multiple departments to assist the movement of trucks, commodities and other assets
Learn transportation basics including truck/trailer types, load securement, DOT regulations and more
Maintain accurate reporting and data entry
Establish strong personal relationships with PGT drivers, customers and employees
Be a part of the Future of Flatbed®, PGT's strategic initiatives to increase operating efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and enhance the driver/employee lifestyle
Qualification
Required
Interested candidates should be pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Science or other related field
