Responsibilities
The Administrative Resident builds a broad range of healthcare management, administrative, and leadership skills through project work, committee participation, and work assignments
At the direction of a department leader, the Administrative Resident partners to assist in obtaining operational goals, undertaking, coordinating and completing assigned projects, fostering relationships and preparing reports and summaries of activities for the leadership team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and participant in accredited Master's Degree program in health care administration
Flexibility and willingness to assume a variety of role assignments and deal effectively with ambiguity
Understanding and commitment to cultural competency and diversity in the workplace and in the practice of health care
Attention to Detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Customer / Patient Focused
Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize multiple priorities simultaneously
