Responsibilities
GCP infrastructure management: Design, implement, and maintain GCP infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, while ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency
CI/CD pipeline development: Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI for automated builds, testing, and deployments
Containerization and orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications on GCP using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE), including setting up and managing clusters and using tools like Helm and Argo CD
Automation: Automate operational tasks, provisioning, and deployments through scripting and configuration management tools like Ansible
Monitoring and observability: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana
Security and compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure the infrastructure adheres to compliance standards
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and other teams to improve processes, support application deployments, and troubleshoot production issues
Qualification
Required
At least 6+ years of hands-on experience in setting up GCP Infra and implementing DevOps practices
Worked on at least 5 end-to-end Production projects
Deep knowledge of GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run), Kubernetes, and containerization technologies
Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform and automation tools like Ansible or shell scripting
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloud Logging
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex issues
