Responsibilities

Demonstrates the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while meeting established timelines and expectations, with guidance from senior team members as needed
Supports the development and evaluation of new products aligned with the Eurogerm KB business model, including bread, pastry, and cake bases, dough conditioners, shelf-life extenders, and grain blends. Responsibilities include assisting with test baking, basic sensory evaluations, and process trials
Provides technical support to the sales team by assisting with product demonstrations and basic product or process troubleshooting under direction. Travel to customer locations in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean may be required
Prepares and maintains accurate documentation and reports, including formulas, data sheets, recipes, and summaries of customer visits or internal trials
Participate in trade shows, customer seminars, and product presentations as assigned, supporting product setup, demonstrations, and sampling activities
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, and hygiene standards in the laboratory and pilot baking areas, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Completes additional projects and tasks assigned by management
Performs other duties as required to support department and business needs

Required

1-3 Years bakery experience
Know-How in formulation of American pastry (cakes, donuts, cookies)
Highschool degree or equivalent
Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills
Familiarity with all customer related items
Reporting
Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with (windows), Microsoft Office, and Outlook
Detail-oriented and willingness to learn
Effective problem-solving skills
Proven ability to effectively collaborate
Demonstrated ability to perform/deal with ambiguity
Highly organized, self-starter able to set and follow priorities and manage multiple projects

Preferred

Bilingual a plus
