Responsibilities
Prepare and draft complaints, motions, and all phases of written discovery
Provide strategic legal counsel and sound judgement on case status throughout the litigation process
Handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances, motion hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations (whether in person or remotely)
Conduct thorough legal research, analyzing statues, case law, regulations, and legal trends to support case strategies and arguments
Must be able to multitask on numerous assignments and deadlines simultaneously
Must have taken expert depositions
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited Law School
5+ years of experience in Personal Injury Law
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar Association
Must be able to draft, format and write Motions, Responses, and various other pleadings with little or no supervision
Preferred
2+ years as trial attorney is a plus
