Responsibilities
Review project documentation, including plans, specifications, and schedules
Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements
Develop and implement commissioning plans and documentation, including schedules
Responsible for commissioning activities on project site
Commissioning Leader on the project, chair meetings coordinate commissioning activities
Mentor and coach junior level staff on the commissioning process
Manage commissioning schedule and coordinate support needed from Field Superintendents, QA/QC staff, commissioning Engineers
Coordinate with Operations Team and Project Management team on schedule, budget, training, and issues that arise
Verification of pre-commissioning and start-up activities / documentation to confirm project is ready for commissioning activities
Audit commissioning paperwork for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate commissioning activities and required team/vendor required onsite days
Provide updates and reports on any commissioning issues in a timely manner to all necessary parties
Prepare for transition to client after final inspections and commissioning processes are complete
Manage Observations/Issue log, update and track through closure
Responsible for integrated system testing and compilation of results
Perform other duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
6-15 years of experience in construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations on projects
Proficient in creating, reviewing, and presenting reports regarding commissioning activities
Preferred
Commissioning certification credentials is a plus
Building Automation Systems (Controls) experience a plus
