Responsibilities
Register and establish payroll tax accounts in all US states, including state withholding, unemployment insurance, and applicable local tax agencies
Set up and configure client payroll tax accounts in Gusto, ensuring accurate state and local tax settings
Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws
Maintain changes in state payroll regulations and proactively apply updates to client accounts
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in account / project management
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred
Experience with payroll systems such as Gusto, ADP, and Paylocity
Prior experience helping clients onboard to a new system or service
