Responsibilities
Monitor and audit payment flows and reconcile financial data across systems for accuracy
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in fund transfers and payment allocations
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, and Operations to maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
Analyze trends and anomalies in payment data to identify risks or process gaps
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial assurance processes
Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline payment verification workflows
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in financial tracking
Develop business cases and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support strategic decision-making for key initiatives
Support the annual budget process, including forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with financial goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial auditing, accounting, or payment reconciliation
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Overtime required – as needed
Travel 0-10% – as required
Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI
Preferred
Experience in automotive remarketing or asset management
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
CPA or equivalent preferred
