Provide support to the Assistant Vice President of External Affairs and the Office of External Affairs
Manage the day-to-day activities of a complex office environment
Handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Maintain confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Three to five years' related experience with increasingly greater levels of responsibility in executive assistant capacity
Valid driver's license
Specialized training such as may be obtained through a university or college degree, technical school degree, or business school major, with extensive on-the-job training involving increasingly more difficult and complex responsibilities
Proficient use of computer is required for word processing, e-mail, note and meeting-minute taking, etc
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, and must be able to maintain confidentiality
Must also be able to manage the day-to-day activities of a complex office environment with the AVP for External Affairs leading multiple directors and coordinators
