Business Development Manager

They are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to drive sales and distributor acquisition, build customer relationships, and enhance market opportunities within the engine sector.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage and expand the existing client base through consultative selling and regular relationship health checks
Maintain a relentless focus on uncovering, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities within the diesel and gas engine markets
Source high-quality leads through a combination of referrals, professional networking, strategic social media use, industry research, and in-person site visits
Lead customers through a "high-touch" quoting and proposal phase, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are met with precision
Act as a brand ambassador to position Reviva as the premier supplier for fleets, OEMs, and aftermarket distributors
Work as an integral member of the sales team, supporting Reviva-wide initiatives and collaborating with engineering and operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment
Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, forecast growth, and analyze territory performance to inform strategic decision-making

Required

4-year bachelor's degree required
Proven track record in full-cycle sales development, with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience moving opportunities from initial discovery to a successful close
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience with modern CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) for pipeline management
Strong negotiation, active listening, and professional presentation skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication for building long-term customer rapport
Ability to self-manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics

Preferred

A focus on Business, Marketing, or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred
Deep understanding of diesel or gas engine mechanics and the remanufacturing industry is strongly preferred
Experience selling to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), truck dealerships, or large-scale equipment fleets is a significant advantage
