Tops Peer Influencer
Cuyahoga Community College is seeking dedicated student leaders to serve as Tops Peer Influencers who promote health and well-being among their peers. The role involves guiding students towards resources and facilitating activities that enhance health awareness and holistic well-being.

Responsibilities
Complete 12-hour CPE Training and 2-hour QPR Suicide Prevention Training (paid trainings)
Maintain a presence on campus, serving as a resource and referral point for peers
Manage a social media presence to share educational content and direct students to resources
Participate in the Tri-C Help Is Here weekly “Tops Peer Influencer Committee” meetings to debrief and plan programming and messages, assist with material review and present gathered student feedback
Help plan and execute health and wellness programs and events, including Student Involvement Fairs, Success Week, and Wellness Fest
Support the promotion of events and programs through various means
Assist in creating promotional health-related video content for the HIH website, App, and other platforms
Present on health and wellness resources and topics at various campus events, student groups, and academic classes
Plan and implement weekly health and wellness events to engage the Tri-C community
Qualification
Required
Currently registered and enrolled as a Tri-C student with a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA
Interest in wellness education and prevention programming
Good academic and behavioral standing with the College
Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
Ability to model appropriate behavior, present oneself professionally, maintain confidentiality, and work independently and collaboratively
Commitment to creating an inclusive environment and aligning with Tri-C's mission and values
If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College
Preferred
Interest or experience in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Healthcare, Education, or related fields
