Litigation Paralegal
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with personal injury litigation cases from start to finish, including drafting and organizing pleadings, motions, and discovery
Manage and organize case files, evidence, exhibits, medical records, summaries, and litigation databases
Prepare trial binders, witness materials, and exhibit lists; support trial logistics and courtroom procedures where applicable
Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement preparations
Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research, summarize key documents, and assist attorneys with case strategy and legal analysis
Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and ensure all filings and responses comply with court rules
Support administrative and case management functions as needed
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of experience, including personal injury litigation
Support attorneys through all phases of litigation from case intake through trial preparation and resolution
Manage case files, discovery, client communication, and courtroom support
Preferred
3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a significant focus on personal injury cases
Demonstrated knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and discovery practices
Experience preparing for trial or supporting attorneys in the courtroom is a big plus
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with legal software, case management systems, and litigation support tools
