VP of Facilities & Bld System
Syufy Enterprises is a fast-growing, financially strong Marin-based entertainment and leisure company that owns a variety of businesses, including high-end athletic clubs and spas, restaurants, golf venues, shopping centers, public markets, and drive-in theaters. The VP of Facilities & Building Systems will develop systems, central monitoring programs, and initiatives for facilities, building systems, utilities, aquatics, maintenance, projection, and audio/visual for all Syufy Companies.

Responsibilities
Develop systems and programs including use of technology to monitor building systems in regards to HVAC, energy management, aquatics, cardio equipment, and digital projection
Review and manage electric, gas, water, waste management and utility bills
Develop Facility training programs for Facility Directors and General Managers
Seek out and implement cost savings opportunities for Facilities
Visit all locations regarding facility issues on a regular basis to ensure buildings are being maintained to standards
Work with the VP of Construction regarding new construction and remodel punch lists
Manage Maintenance and Booth Technicians to maximize use of their time and projects
Develop and maintain programs but not limited to grease trap maintenance, hood and duct cleaning, food and beverage equipment maintenance, aquatics, athletic equipment, landscaping, snow removal, fire extinguishers, janitorial cleaning services, preventative maintenance agreements, life/safety/security programs and HVAC
Maintain warrantee/maintenance information for buildings
Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs
Develop National and Regional facility related agreements in conjunction with Purchasing and Operations
Develop and maintain approved Facility vendor lists
Develop inventory management system to monitor and maintain parts to expedite repairs and reduce down time of equipment and pools
Participate in building planning meetings
Participate during new building openings
Ensure all repairs are promptly resolved
Will be assigned to additional projects outside of Facilities on an as needed basis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; and 5-7 years related experience and/ or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, customers, and the general public
