Responsibilities
Assess the technical feasibility of the existing CAS system, including architecture, scalability, and security
Evaluate operational alignment with cadet workflows and institutional needs across Commandant, Academic, and Athletic departments
Review system interoperability with Banner, Canvas, My Citadel Portal, and health-related systems
Analyze user experience, system adoption, and training requirements
Evaluate economic feasibility, including total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI)
Analyze the existing codebase and provide recommendations for modernization or system replacement
Develop a modernization roadmap, including timelines and high-level implementation strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
Prepare and present findings, reports, and recommendations to leadership
Prioritize work activities based on organizational goals and project urgency
Effectively plan, track, and communicate work progress and deadlines
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience developing applications using C#
3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL
3+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting technical and business requirements
Preferred
Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as React, JavaScript, and Material UI
Experience analyzing legacy codebases and creating application modernization plans
Familiarity with third-party data integrations using REST APIs and SQL-based data extracts
