Additive Manufacturing Senior Engineer

Responsibilities
Provide Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) input to optimize parts for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) processes
Collaborate with program engineers and proactively network with internal/external customers
Support the entire additive build process from build set-up, printer operation, and build post-processing
Support planning, scheduling, and execution of builds
Provide timely and accurate cost estimates to potential customers looking for additive manufacturing hardware solutions
Interface with leaders and engineering team to apply/modify existing techniques towards the improvement or development of new processes
Qualification
Required

A motivated individual who's able to work closely with a diverse team to understand processes and unique design constraints
Someone willing to learn new concepts, software, and equipment
Someone with the ability to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects, and timeline pressure to meet deadlines
Someone comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums
Preferred
Basic understanding of metallurgy
Experience coordinating with other functional disciplines and organizations
Foundational knowledge of testing for aerospace flight hardware
Experience with stress/thermal analysis software (NX or similar)
Experience with nTopology and AnsysAM
