Responsibilities
Plays a lead role in providing global Network Engineering support
Configures and installs complex network devices, infrastructure and systems
Ensures the ongoing performance of network maintenance and systems upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitors network security and risk metrics, tracks issues and exceptions to risk policies and standards and liaises with Cybersecurity team members – suggesting process improvements and ensuring compliance with company security protocols and guidelines
Analyzes current network configuration, performance metrics and business needs, recommending future infrastructure improvements
Works to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to network infrastructure
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree and 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Cisco IOS stack
ITIL familiarity
ITOM familiarity
resolving tickets
leading network related projects
incident response (on call)
WiFi
SD-WAN
LAN/SDN
VPN
configures network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, etc.)
Preferred
CCNA preferred
CCNP a plus
