Responsibilities
Assist with the documentation of Management Self-Identified Issues (MSIs) and Audit Issues using established templates
Track all Department open issues and action plans, including milestone dates, owner updates, and follow-ups
Coordinate with action owners to obtain timely remediation updates and required evidence
Perform basic checks for accuracy and completeness before submission to Executive Director for review
Support the end-to-end closure process, ensuring all documentation and required procedural steps are completed
Structure, format, and label materials for clarity, consistency, and version control
Conduct quality checks using checklists to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare the final package for Executive Director review and approval
Complete required pre-audit preparation tasks
Log, track, and coordinate responses to Internal Audit requests
Gather, organize, and perform basic validation of materials submitted for audit requests
Follow up with stakeholders to clarify requests or obtain missing materials
Maintain organized SharePoint folders and ensure all audit documentation is current and audit ready
Qualification
Required
Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills; comfortable with shifting priorities
High attention to detail with strong follow-through and ownership of assigned tasks
Clear, concise, professional communication (written and verbal)
Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and general document-management practices
Ability to learn processes quickly and work independently after instruction
Preferred
Experience in Audit, Compliance Testing, Issue Management, Risk Management, or similar control environment
Comfort interacting with stakeholders at various levels to request updates or materials
