Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Develop and execute strategic account plans within the public sector
Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities through a structured sales process
Accurately forecast pipeline activity and maintain CRM records
Build long-term relationships with key public sector decision-makers, influencers, and senior stakeholders
Present compelling proposals and tailored solutions that align with public service priorities
Manage expectations during presales, procurement, delivery, and aftercare
Promote additional services and identify opportunities for account expansion
Lead and contribute to RFP responses and complex deal structures within government frameworks
Coordinate internal stakeholders and virtual bid teams to deliver quality submissions on time
Qualify opportunities and mitigate risks early in the public procurement process
Maintain a deep understanding of Content Guru’s storm® platform and its relevance to public sector needs
Stay informed of public sector procurement regulations, funding cycles, and compliance requirements
Deliver solution demonstrations and articulate the business value of our platform to public sector audiences
Collaborate with marketing and contribute thought leadership where appropriate

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience closing complex B2B deals, with at least 2 years in the US public sector market
Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and public sector contracting
Experience selling to senior-level executives in public sector agencies
Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
Skilled in account planning, negotiation, and consultative selling
Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented with a strong commercial mindset

Preferred

Experience in SaaS, cloud, or IT services preferred
