Required
Experience in the automation process
Industrial electrical panel fabrication and build
Component layout of electrical enclosures
Electrical assemblies' controls and wiring
Diagnose PLC programs and modifications to programs
Testing and troubleshooting electrical equipment
Retro fitting motors, drives and components
Design and build electrical enclosures
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and statistics
Understanding electrical principles and wiring of equipment AC and DC
Knowledge of engineering science and technology
PLC Programming is a must
Critical Thinking – Use logic to identify approaches to problems, solutions and drawing conclusions
Time Management – Managing your own time
Instructing – Must be able to teach others how to perform tasks
Repairing – Repairing machines as well as the facility
Equipment Maintenance – Performing PM maintenance and determining when and what is needed
Troubleshooting – Determining causes of errors and deciding a plan of action to correct the error
