Responsibilities
You will interface with the Clients IT staff on a regular basis
You will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for OBIEE and related products
You should be highly experienced in OBIEE products and several platforms that are being supported w/in a large Data Center environment
You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status/risk/issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong knowledge of Strategic planning, Resource allocation, Team Leadership, Process Involvement, Communication and Coordination, Performance evaluation, and Adaptability and Change Management
Importing data from different schema into RPD
Designing the data model by identifying the facts & dimension
Creating dimension Hierarchies, Calculations, LBM etc
Organising the layer based on end users view of business
Adding the additional columns or tables based on new requirement and modelling them into existing design or new design
Migrating the RPD changes across the environments like Test, Prod etc
Development of new reports with different visualizations like table, pivot, graphs, performance tile, Treemap, Heat Matrix etc according to the business requirements
Integrating the reports in the dashboards along with the prompts (Run time filters)
Development of BI publisher reports for Pixel Perfect Formats and complex layouts, which is Static in nature and is needed in Real time
Security setup - Object Level and Data Level security for reports and dashboards
Migrating the OBIEE catalogue across the environments like Test, Prod etc
Enhancements to reports and dashboards based on the user requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required
Should be strong in BI publisher
Experience in oracle SQL/PL SQL
Experience in writing SQL queries
Should be able to work on Packages, Functions and Procedures
Ability to manage client conversations and meetings
Should have 8-10 years of experience in OBIEE/BIP/SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong knowledge of Strategic planning, Resource allocation, Team Leadership, Process Involvement, Communication and Coordination, Performance evaluation, and Adaptability and Change Management
