Responsibilities

Overseeing everything from physical and information security to anti-terrorism and force protection
Proactively identify risks, develop innovative security solutions, and ensure our defensive posture is robust and compliant with all regulations
Conduct physical security inspections, manage access control programs, and lead security education and training for our personnel
Review construction and modification plans to ensure security standards are integrated from the ground up
Serve as the primary liaison with other security and law enforcement agencies

Required

Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Department of Defense Security Physical Security Certification conferral is required within 2 years of the established employee EOD
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
In-depth knowledge of comprehensive Anti-Terrorism (AT) and Base Defense concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement installation-level AT and Base Defense operations and an installation-level Physical Security Program
In-depth knowledge of contracted products and services ensuring they are in full compliance with contract requirements and the contracts are being implemented effectively and efficiently to meet organizational goals
Skilled at conducting research, assembling factual data, conducting analysis, drawing conclusions, and communicating recommended solutions in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for use by decision-makers. Must be highly articulate and able to present complex materials in order to plan, organize, and meet deadlines
Ability to apply expert level knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices to development and implementation of new and improved security policies, procedures, and practices to meet program objectives
Ability to persuade others to accept recommendations, work toward an agreement, and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements; determine goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations; monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes
Ability to identify problems and use sound judgment and decisions to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations
