$21/hr - $26/hrGrimmway Produce Group is seeking a Seed Room Tech responsible for receiving and shipping carrot and vegetable seed shipments into various seed storage locations throughout growing regions. This position also involves assisting the Seed Procurement Manager with inventory management, providing an opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s largest carrot and organic vegetable grower, packer, and shippers.

Receiving and shipping carrot and vegetable seed shipments into various seed storage locations
Assisting the Seed Procurement Manager with inventory management
Qualification
Required
Must have a valid Forklift Certification
Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, including the creation and updating of spreadsheets and reports
Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess good analytical skills
Willingness to learn new computer programs
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Ability to work with minimal instruction and supervision
Must practice good safety and housekeeping habits as well as enforce them
Available to work weekends and overtime as needed
Must have a valid California driver's license with a clean DMV driving record
Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation
Preferred
Four-year college degree preferred but not required in lieu of direct experience
