Responsibilities

Enterprise ownership of retail display strategy and in-store content governance
Strategic influence over the in-store customer experience and brand storytelling
Oversight of digital display platforms, POP programs, and seasonal execution
Executive-level cross-functional leadership and decision authority
Accountability for business impact, operational efficiency, and consistency at scale
Set and lead the enterprise vision and long-term strategy for in-store displays across all Ashley retail locations
Define how digital displays, POP, and seasonal programs support brand positioning, merchandising priorities, and promotional objectives
Establish scalable frameworks, standards, and playbooks to ensure consistency across diverse store formats and markets
Develop multi-year roadmaps for retail display innovation, including digital signage evolution and future in-store experience enhancements
Own the in-store customer experience strategy as it relates to retail displays, guiding how customers navigate, discover products, and engage with content in-store
Ensure all in-store display elements work together to deliver cohesive brand storytelling and compelling customer moments
Align omnichannel messaging by translating marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives into the physical retail environment
Identify and champion opportunities to elevate the in-store experience through experiential displays, storytelling moments, and emerging retail technologies
Establish and enforce enterprise-wide governance models for all in-store display content, including digital signage, POP, and seasonal assets
Own the end-to-end content lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, approval workflows, deployment, refresh cadence, optimization, and retirement
Define clear decision rights, roles, and responsibilities across Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Store Teams
Ensure content accuracy, brand consistency, compliance, and operational feasibility at scale
Drive speed-to-market and executional efficiency by simplifying processes and reducing complexity for store teams
Provide executive oversight of in-store digital display platforms and content management systems
Partner with technology teams and external vendors to define platform strategy, capabilities, and future enhancements
Ensure digital display content is dynamic, relevant, and aligned with customer and business needs
Serve as the executive liaison across Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Store Leadership for all in-store display initiatives
Align stakeholders around shared priorities, timelines, and performance outcomes
Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new standards, tools, and ways of working
Own budget strategy, investment prioritization, and ROI for retail display programs
Oversee vendor relationships, including digital signage partners, print and fabrication vendors, and creative agencies
Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess customer engagement, content effectiveness, execution quality, and business impact
Use performance insights and field feedback to continuously optimize display strategy and execution
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team responsible for retail display strategy, content operations, and execution
Define the organizational model and capabilities required to support enterprise-scale in-store experiences
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Retail Management, Business, or related field
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail displays, in-store marketing, visual merchandising, or customer experience
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale, multi-location retail initiatives
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners

Preferred

Experience with digital signage platforms and content management systems
Background in large-format, specialty, or home furnishings retail
Vendor, budget, and platform ownership experience
Demonstrated success driving measurable business outcomes through in-store experiences
