Entry, Mid LevelKatz School of Science and Health is seeking an early–mid career Instructional Designer for a part-time 1099 contractor role. This position focuses on hands-on Canvas LMS configuration and faculty support for graduate-level courses.

Responsibilities
Build and configure Canvas courses, including modules, assignments, quizzes, and gradebook setup
Partner with faculty to translate learning goals into effective module structures and navigation
Apply accessibility best practices (alt text, captions, and page structure)
Enhance content using Articulate Rise and troubleshoot Canvas workflow issues
Qualification
Required
Practical experience in instructional design or educational technology support (Higher Ed preferred)
High proficiency in Canvas LMS: ability to build a course shell into a polished, student-ready site
Strong written communication and comfort working directly with faculty
Availability aligned with Eastern Time for collaboration
