Assistant Director for Employer Relations: Events and Operations
University of Idaho Career Services is looking for an Assistant Director for Employer Relations: Events and Operations. This role focuses on enhancing connections between employers and students/alumni through effective event planning and management of Career Services signature events. The position also involves supervising interns and student employees while collaborating with other supervisors in training efforts.
Responsibilities
Facilitates relationships between employers and students/alumni
Provides leadership and oversight with regards to event planning
Responsible for orchestrating all Career Services signature events including career fairs, on-campus interviews, etiquette dinners, Handshake events, and other signature career events
Hires and supervises all Employer Relations interns and student employees
Works with other office supervisors in training all Career Services student employees in approving employers and job postings in Handshake
Qualification
Required
2 years experience with event planning and program coordination
Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized database system
Bachelor's degree
