Investment Technology Support, Manager

Manage service level agreements, coordinate project and vendor activities, develop team strategies and goals, and ensure compliance with IT standards and organizational policies
Foster collaboration and professional growth among team members, support innovation and business alignment, and play a key role in advancing CalPERS’ investment operations and strategic initiatives

Required

Describe your experience leading IT development and operations that directly support investment functions
Highlight specific projects, the outcomes achieved, and the steps you took to ensure alignment with organizational goals
If you lack direct investment-related experience, provide examples of comparable work that demonstrates your ability to deliver effective technology solutions in similarly complex or regulated environments
Share an example of a modernization or innovation initiative you led, including the specific challenges you encountered, the strategies you used to address those challenges, and the measurable impact your efforts had on the organization
Describe your approach to building and mentoring IT teams, fostering a strong sense of collaboration, and driving culture change within an office-centered environment
Include specific strategies you have used to promote professional development, recognize and develop talent, and motivate team members to achieve shared goals
Please provide examples of how your leadership contributed to team growth, improved performance, and positive outcomes
You may need to pass an examination to establish list eligibility prior to a final offer of employment
