Senior Active Directory Design Specialist

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Active Directory Design Specialist to join the team in Memphis, TN. This role will be part of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations team focused on sustaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability for critical security controls across Boeing’s global identity fabric.

Responsibilities

Collaborate cross-organizationally to drive the definition, development, integration, and design of security controls across diverse Information Technology environments and systems, ensuring robust protection and operational resilience
Collaborate cross-organizationally to drive specification and selection of security products, tools, and techniques for intrusion detection/prevention, data loss prevention, data encryption, identity and access management, and authentication
Evaluate security architectures and recommend industry-leading or best-practice solutions that reduce risk while aligning with national and international privacy and regulatory requirements
Assess design artifacts (threat models, data flow diagrams, requirements, etc.) and known system vulnerabilities to produce practical designs and recommendations that mitigate or eliminate risk
Mentor technical teams on security best practices and champion systemic approaches that continuously drive down security risk across the organization

Required

5+ years of experience implementing and managing a cyber-risk management program, Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) program, auditing of applications, processes, or other compliance programs
5+ years of experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic
5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, identity/access management, and automation
5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing secure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) solutions
5+ years of experience with privacy and security control policies
Willing to support a 24/7 on-call environment

Preferred

Experience with analyzing generated security logs and captures using Splunk, Putty, Wireshark, or other SIEM experience
Experience with security best practices, threats, and mitigating techniques
Experience with zero trust principles and methodologies
Experience with the Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) lifecycle
Experience working in Agile methodologies
Experience with IT and cybersecurity risk fundamentals
Experience with at least one of the security standards/frameworks, e.g. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ISO27001, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Cloud Control Matrix (CCM)
Experience with security benchmarks Center for Internet Security (CIS) policy compliance and security frameworks and how it relates to technology implementation
