LICENSING PROGRAM MANAGER I

The California Department of Social Services is dedicated to serving and supporting Californians in need. The Licensing Program Manager I will oversee a unit of Licensing Program Analysts, ensuring compliance and quality in child care services through monitoring, training, and regulatory enforcement.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and supervising the activities of a unit of Licensing Program Analysts
Performs quality assurance reviews
Plans and conducts individual and group training
Reviews complaint investigations
Provides technical and supervisory direction in the office and the field
Reviews monthly intake and production reports
May act as the Division representative with other agencies
Recruit and hire new staff
Meet with facility representatives
Recommend administrative actions against noncompliance licensees
Supports the office in maintaining CCLD Policies and Procedures
Must be able to travel
