Responsibilities
Creates a plan of assigned tasks/role for the team placing them in into roles that seek to maximize production in coordination with their trained skills and abilities. Coordinates with leadership
Seeks to maximize throughput by anticipating bottle necks to production and communicating with the supervisor and management to eliminate bottlenecks
Supports activities identified by the team related to safety, process, part, quality, and production
Seeks and participates in team, and self-development, opportunities including new hire training
Works on assigned tasks and projects to meet departmental goals
Assist Supervisor with daily administrative work as assigned
Prepares, and leads 5-minute meetings and Pre-Task Briefs as assigned
Assists with quality investigations, as directed
Communicates with Supervisor regularly regarding safety, production, personnel, quality, and requested/required information
Actively pursues elimination of waste through coaching, technique, training and skill-based feedback
Must comply with all company attendance policies and procedures which include but are not limited to regular attendance and occasional overtime
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items
Preferred
Associate or Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or related field
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year working in a similar capacity. (Prior Aerospace Manufacturing Preferred)
Proven leadership ability
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and scientific methods for problem solving
