Responsibilities
Provide Technical Support and Maintenance for COTS applications used in life sciences operations (e.g., clinical trial management, lab systems, regulatory compliance tools)
Strong experience with Lorenz (Submission Publishing System), GFAP, and supporting systems/software
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
Document support procedures, known issues, and resolutions in a structured knowledge base
Participate in validation and compliance activities (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) as required
Engage in cross-training and upskilling on new COTS platforms relevant to the life sciences domain
Support integration efforts between COTS systems and enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, data warehouses)
Experience with various platforms like Lorenz or Data Governance Suite of product and related platform
Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders; Communication approach: verbal, emails and instant messages
Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and be open to receiving feedback on your own code
Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure DevOps
Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking; Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members
Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in 'COTS Application Support', preferably in life sciences or healthcare
4+ years of experience Submission Publishing System (Lorenz), GFAP and Peripheral Systems/Software
4+ yrs of experience of ITIL processes and incident/change/problem management
4+ yrs of experience on basic SQL, scripting, or data interfaces is a plus
3+ yrs of experience in GxP-compliant systems & validation documentation, COTS various platforms like Lorenz or Data Governance Suite of product and related platform
